So for Friday fund a mouse, we ask you one question. Here's the one question. The one question we have to ask you is what is your number one piece of advice that you give as a small business coach to small business owners to help them make more money? It's very simple. Track your time and you're going to think, oh, that's so dumb, that's too simple. No, literally, old school, when we were not putting everything on our phones and we were not entering it into an APP and we were not just checking boxes take out a piece of paper and every single day for a week,...

...in fifteen minute an increment, you got to put what are you doing, and it will change your life more than anything I can think of actually in your business is if you start with this, because what happens is the patterns very quickly reveal themselves. And I kind of joke when I say, like, you know, you can't read the label from inside the jar. It's like why? You know, you know our girlfriend, or girlfriend can be dating somebody and all of her friends know he's just a dud, but she can't see it. It's like because she's, you know, inside the jar. Well, this you know, since I the jar figured of like literally, but it's yeah, everybody's like, Oh my God, this what an idiot edited it up. They can't see it. So the point is by by tracking your time, random Segway, by tracking your time, it's like you write everything down. It's like it's like writing down every single thing you eat and when you actually tally up that, yeah, that might have only had five calories. The five calories and you're popping them, you know,...

...all day long. It adds up, and it's the same thing with time. How much we waste. And so when you track your time and you you are truly disciplined and sit down and do it and you go kind I had no idea that phone call lasted twenty two minutes. I thought it was on a phone for five minutes, you know. Or wait a minute that you know, posting that stuff on instagram like that took that long. And the ideas that you do it over a series of days. And what's fasting about also is that you find out your most productive times of the day. You find out you're the times when you are most likely to get swayed into, Oh, you know, getting distracted. You find you know, I find for myself, like you know, listen, if I'm going to do hardcore numbers and concentration stuff, it's got to be first thing in the morning and there's not a chance and God's Gran land it can be late in the afternoon because I am might as well I'm just useless. But that time is...

...great for creative time for me or brainstorming ideas. My brain is much more relaxed, etc. Etc. And you when you step back then, after having a whole week of that day and you say, okay, listen, what brought in the most customers or what created the biggest sales or my most profitable, you know, moments of the week. And what you're looking for is you're looking for your top three to five activities that really produced the best, the most for Your Business, whatever your goals are in your role, and then the idea is to sub out those things, the top things, make sure you're doing those, and sub out the three things or five things that can be delegated that anybody else can do, so it's like you're really doing your greatest work. So, for example, being on a podcast like this, very difficult for me to delegate and have somebody sound as challenge as I am. And but you know, at the end of the day,...

...will it sell books for you know, probably, actually. So it's probably a really good use of my time. Now if I spend, you know, forty minutes on the phone instead with verizon, fucking around, funking around, excuse me about my turn. Okay, okay, talking around about my Damn Bill. So when I'm fucking around about the bill and something that's totally useless. Could somebody else do that? Yes, right. And so where is my time better spent? And it's amazing how black and white things start to become, when you go, oh my gosh, I cannot believe I or how much time we spend on, you know, customers who are not a fit, who are never going to want to pay your rates or never going to appreciate the hard work you put in. And so when you start making these changes and subbing in your bottom activities for the top activities, that's when you you start having some that's when the magic happens.
